Stepping up our patrols in Hackney

Antisemitism, hatred and violence have no place in our city. Following recent attacks on the Jewish community, the Met has stepped up activity across the capital, deploying thousands of extra officers shifts to protect Londoners alongside intensified investigations leading to arrests.

Today your local policing teams have been out across the Borough, providing reassurance in particular to our Jewish communities. We will continue to do this over the weekend and through the coming weeks.
